PURPOSE

The general inspection is the first examination on the entire lot of devices to inspect the visible sides of the part marking of all devices in the lot. It is to ensure that all devices are free from any gross visual anomalies such as damage, marking discrepancies etc. The visual examination of the samples is conducted at appropriate magnification based on the part type, size, and configuration.
