PURPOSE

The incoming inspection is performed upon receiving of the devices to verify the shipment information such as purchase order number, part number, quantity etc. Incoming pictures are taken, ensuring that everything received has been fully documented. This includes pictures of each package, labels on the packages, and close ups. Adding onto this, parts will undergo a preliminary visual inspection, checking for obvious damage or discrepancy such as bent leads or damage to the carrier. Images are taken of the external shipping package and traceability documentation and carefully placed in GETS test report. These images include clear and important information such as OCM part number, date code, lot code, ESD sensitivity, MSL level, barcode etc.
